Mingalarbar!

Welcome to the July Edition of GEN Monthly Newsletter! We had a busy month with workshops and meetings for the inclusion of gender in different sectors.

Each month, we ask a GEN member, friend or staff for some insight into their participation with GEN. This month we ask Ma Pyae Phyo Swe (Trocaire), who actively participated in GEN's activities as a member, to share about her feelings and experience with GEN.

Mingalarpar to all the members of Gender Equality Network!

Special thanks for giving me an opportunity to contribute in the monthly newsletter of July. It’s been three years that I’ve become a member of GEN representing Trocaire. It has been a great fun and learning experience working and collaborating closely with GEN members and CU staff. I’m happy and proud to be part of GEN’s working group supporting gender equality, women’s right and policy changes. GEN’s actions are instrumental in building a free and fair society where equality and non-violence prevail, therefore, I’d like to say that I am always ready to cooperate with GEN for its proceeding tasks. Thank you...
