ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံတြင္ အမ်ိဳးသမီးႏွင့္မိန္းကေလးငယ္မ်ားအေနျဖင့္ လုပ္ပိုင္ခြင့္၊ တန္းတူအခြင့္အေရးမ်ား ပိုမိုရရွိေစရန္ႏွင့္ က်ား/မ ေရးရာ တန္းတူညီမွ်မႈျမွင့္တင္ေရးေဆာင္ရြက္ရာတြင္ အရပ္ဖက္လူမႈအဖြဲ႔အစည္းမ်ားႏွင့္ေဒသ ႏၱရ အစိုးရမ်ားအၾကားပိုမိုပူးေပါင္းေဆာင္ရြက္ႏိုင္ေရးအတြက္ EU မွေငြေျကးေထာက္ပံံ့ေသာ စီမံကိန္းအသစ္ မိတ္ဆက္ျခင္း အခမ္းအနားအား မတ္လ ၃၀ ရက္ ေသာျကာေန႔တြင္ ရန္ကုန္ျမိဳ႕ရွိ Park Royal Hotel တြင္ က်င္းပခဲ့ပါသည္။

           အခမ္းအနားသို႔ လူမႈဝန္ထမ္းဦးစီးဌာနမွ ကိုယ္စားလွယ္မ်ား၊ European Union မွ Ambassador ႏွင့္ကိုယ္စားလွယ္မ်ား၊ ျပည္တြင္းႏွင့္ ႏုိင္ငံတကာအဖြဲ႔အစည္းမ်ားမွ ကိုယ္စားလွယ္မ်ား၊ နည္းပညာဆိုင္ရာ ကၽြမ္းက်င္သူမ်ား၊ မီဒီယာမ်ား စသျဖင့္ စုစုေပါင္း ( ၁၀၃ ) တက္ေရာက္ခဲ့ၾကပါသည္။
အခမ္းအနားတြင္ Mr. Kristian Schmidt, Ambassador of EU မွ အဖြင့္စကားေျပာခဲ့ၿပီး၊ ေဒါက္တာေကသီျမင့္သိန္း (GEN), Mr. Mani Kumar (DCA-NCA), မစုစုငယ္ (Pyoe Pin Institute) တို႔မွလည္း ႏႈတ္ခြန္းဆက္စကားေျပာၾကားခဲ့ပါသည္။ ထို႔အျပင္ "Empowered Civil Society Organisations and Local Authorities Promoting Gender Equality in Myanmar through National Mechanism" ေခါင္းစဥ္ျဖင့္ ကိုေနလင္းထိုက္ (Equality Myanmar) မွ ဦးေဆာင္ကာစကားဝိုင္းေဆြးေႏြးပြဲျပဳလုပ္ခဲ့ၿပီး ေဒၚမိုးမိုးမင္း (လူမႈဝန္ထမ္းဦးစီးဌာန)၊ ေဒၚပန္စီထြန္းသိန္း (GEN), ေဒၚႏြယ္ဇင္ဝင္း (ျပည္ၾကီးခင္)၊ Mrs. Jasmine Burnley (Oxfam in Myanmar) တို႔မွ ပါဝင္ေဆြးေႏြးခဲ့ပါသည္။ ေဒါက္တာထက္ေဝဦး (Project Manager, GEN) မွ ေဆာင္ရြက္မည့္ စီမံကိန္းႏွင့္ပတ္သက္ၿပီး ရွင္းလင္းတင္ျပခဲ့ပါသည္။ ညေနပိုင္းတြင္လည္း က်ား၊ မ ေရးရာ တန္းတူညီမွ်ေရးကြန္ရက္အဖြဲ႔ဝင္မ်ားႏွင့္ ေဆြးေႏြးကာ စီမံကိန္းႏွင့္ပတ္သက္ၿပီး အၾကံျပဳခ်က္မ်ား ရယူခဲ့ပါသည္။

English Version

The project Launch for "Empowered Civil Society Organisations and Local Authorities Promoting Gender Equality in Myanmar" was held on 30 March 2018 at Park Royal Hotel in Yangon. The Project is Funded by European Union and will be jointly implemented by GEN, DCA-NCA and Pyoe Pin Institute. The ( ) representatives from Department of Social Welfare, Representatives from EU, INGOs, NGOs, CSOs and Technical Resource Persons and Media joined the event.

Mr. Kristian Schmidt, Ambassador of the EU provided Opening Remarks, and Dr. Kaythi Myint Thein (GEN), Mr. Mani Kumar (DCA-NCA), Su Su Nge (PPI) also provided the brief introductions.

The Panel Discussion titled " Empowered Civil Society Organisations and Local Authorities Promoting Gender Equality in Myanmar through National Mechanism" was moderated by Ko Nay Lin Htike (Equality Myanmar) and Daw Moe Moe Min (Department of Social Welfare), Daw Pansy Tun Thein (GEN), Daw Nwe Zin Win (Pyi Gyi Khin) and Mrs. Jasmine Burnley (Oxfam) discussed at the panel.

Dr. Htet Wai Oo, Project Manager of GEN explained about the project.

In the evening, there was a consultation meeting with GEN's members.
