Gender Equality Network conducted the Gender Responsive Budgeting workshop on 22nd November 2019 at the Royal Taunggyi Hotel in Taunggyi. Members of Parliament of the Shan State and the office staff from the Shan State Parliament attended the workshop and there were 27 participants (7 M, 20 F) in total. Participants learned the gender concept, CEDAW, NSPAW and how to integrate gender budgeting in budget cycle.
