Gender Responsive Budgeting Training was conducted on 23rd and 24th December 2019 in Hpa An with the committee members and staff of Kayin Hluttaw. The aim of this training is for a better understanding of gender and gender budgeting and the training was supported by Christian Aid, Oxfam, and Trocaire. A total of 12 participants (8 F, 4 M) attended the training.

Engaging with Parliamentarians workshop supported by the European Union was conducted on 24th December 2019 in Hpa An with the CSOs, committee members and staff of Kayin Hluttaw. The aim of this workshop is to address the regional issues proposed by the CSOs and to implement gender-responsive policies and changes. A total of 18 participants (10 F, 8 M) attended the workshop.
